Visual Artists, Musicians and Writers and will be represented every Saturday at the Vallejo Ferry Terminal, weather permitting. Please come and check us out!


The Vallejo Waterfront Artists have negotiated a License Agreement and been granted a Permit with the City of Vallejo allowing participants of the Vallejo Waterfront Artists (VWA) to display and sell their art along the promenade by the Vallejo Ferry.

Artists wishing to participate can follow these steps:

  1. Download and read the VWA Procedures document. This document should answer any questions you may have about participation: days, times, fees, setup, etc.
  2. Contact us to let us know that you are interested and do one of the following: Attach 2 to 4 images of your work in the contact form Or Include a link to your website or online portfolio
  3. We will review your work and notify you of acceptance by email or phone.
  4. Artist must sign 2 documents:

    Mail both forms to: Vallejo Waterfront Artists P.O. BOX 683 Vallejo CA 94590 If we have not received these by the first day you come out to display, we will need you to sign them again that day so that you may display. NOTE: Artists who have already applied and been accepted please be sure to fill out the VWA Artist Agreement form and Save Harmless Agreement.

  5. You must have a Seller’s Permit to participate – this is a state regulation. The permit costs nothing to obtain. You will be required to collect sales tax on retail sales and file regular returns. For additional help and information contact the CA State Board of Equalization.   6. Sign up for your artist space here. You are responsible for your own setup. You are encouraged to bring a shade tent or EZ-up but it is not required.
